In 2019, 17% of global enterprises lost more than $5 million every hour their servers went down, according to Statista. Even for smaller companies, the cost of server downtime is enormous.

Day 2 operations is the painful process of continually improving not just your apps and infrastructure but your broader operational architecture so that it functions successfully in production environments. After all, systems are more than just software; they also include your people and processes.

On top of this, hiring SREs, DevOps and other professionals to build and manage increasingly complex, distributed and remote work—and keeping it secure—is extremely difficult. On-call events and incident responses are often handled manually during off hours and are tough for all involved.

Join this expert technical leadership panel to learn how to handle the toughest Day 2 operations challenges with insight from Visa, Thoughtspot and Cisco.

In this webinar, we'll cover:
  • Cloud Ops - Cost management, platform reliability and capacity optimization
  • Repeatable Ops - User/customer onboarding, provisioning and access
  • Incident management - Health monitoring, alerting and automatic remediation
  • Tips for building proactive workflow automation, ownership of automation services, strategies for tackling complex service management and automation maturity.
  • Gartner's prediction that by 2025, organizations that invest in building “Digital Immunity” will reduce system downtime by up to 80%—and how that translates directly into higher revenue

What You’ll Learn in This Webinar

You’ve probably written a hundred abstracts in your day, but have you come up with a template that really seems to resonate? Go back through your past webinar inventory and see what events produced the most registrants. Sure – this will vary by topic but what got their attention initially was the description you wrote.

Paint a mental image of the benefits of attending your webinar. Often times this can be summarized in the title of your event. Your prospects may not even make it to the body of the message, so get your point across immediately.  Capture their attention, pique their interest, and push them towards the desired action (i.e. signing up for your event). You have to make them focus and you have to do it fast. Using an active voice and bullet points is great way to do this.

Always add key takeaways. Something like this....In this session, you’ll learn about:

  • You know you’ve cringed at misspellings and improper grammar before, so don’t get caught making the same mistake.
  • Get a second or even third set of eyes to review your work.
  • It reflects on your professionalism even if it has nothing to do with your event.
