Are you frustrated by your efforts to consistently apply automation and governance to your cloud infrastructure? Are you overwhelmed by the numerous point solutions available to manage cloud security, cost and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) that still leave you without context for decision-making? Have you tried to integrate a conventional CMDB with the cloud only to find it can’t keep up with the ephemeral nature of cloud infrastructure?

In this webinar, we’ll explore what can be learned from more traditional IT asset and configuration management practices and how you can use those lessons to manage today’s complex cloud. We’ll cover:

  • Key requirements of a well-managed cloud - and what you're likely missing
  • How to maintain a timely and accurate asset inventory while keeping pace with ephemeral cloud infrastructure
  • The role of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and how to jumpstart your efforts
  • How to approach disaster recovery for cloud and SaaS applications
  • Cloud management best practices and policy enforcement to ensure a well-managed cloud.

You will leave this session understanding:

  • Cloud governance for full control over your cloud state and its changes
  • Change management that works with your DevOps version control methods (Git, CI/CD)
  • Disaster recovery to roll back configurations in the event of an outage
  • Best practices for reducing cloud costs with real-time visibility into inefficiencies and cloud waste
  • How to achieve greater efficiency, improved business velocity and reliability and faster MTTR for production issues
  • Audit-readiness with all changes tracked and traceable in a single inventory.

What You’ll Learn in This Webinar

You’ve probably written a hundred abstracts in your day, but have you come up with a template that really seems to resonate? Go back through your past webinar inventory and see what events produced the most registrants. Sure – this will vary by topic but what got their attention initially was the description you wrote.

Paint a mental image of the benefits of attending your webinar. Often times this can be summarized in the title of your event. Your prospects may not even make it to the body of the message, so get your point across immediately.  Capture their attention, pique their interest, and push them towards the desired action (i.e. signing up for your event). You have to make them focus and you have to do it fast. Using an active voice and bullet points is great way to do this.

Always add key takeaways. Something like this....In this session, you’ll learn about:

  • You know you’ve cringed at misspellings and improper grammar before, so don’t get caught making the same mistake.
  • Get a second or even third set of eyes to review your work.
  • It reflects on your professionalism even if it has nothing to do with your event.
