Dave Rook started programming by writing asp (classic), HTML and CSS in notepad. He was quickly thrown into the deep end, working on large-scale problems in C# and C++, with HTML5 or WPF front-ends, where he learned about the bigger picture of distributed services and scaling applications. He has since moved into a product owner like role and leads a great team that delivers software that really impacts customers in a positive way.
