Maria Mugica is a VP heading DGS:Next at Ericsson North America. In her current role, she manages a portfolio and service delivery transformation to introduce CI/CD and cloud native across Digital Services teams.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry as a business-driven leader and Manager in Service Delivery, leading cross functional teams and providing solution and service delivery expertise for ICT projects.
Prior to her current role she led a BSS transformation program for a tier-1 operator in Latin America, as a Program Director enabling significant efficiencies in terms of total Capex, Opex as well as time to market and customer experience improvements.
She began her career in Ericsson as a System Integrator, deploying Charging System solutions in Middle East and Africa. She has formerly also taken roles as Service Delivery Manager, Offering Lead, as well as 3PP management and Tactical Resource planning functions.
She has an extensive set of technical financial and business skill, with a long and proven practice of customer facing and internal efficiency programs and a deep knowledge of the Telco, BSS, OSS, Core and Media industries. She has an excellent knowledge of the SI business and proven experience in several practice areas such as Service Delivery, Consulting, Customer Support and Managed Services.
