Ron DeCanio is a 19-year veteran of the IT industry, holding leadership roles in Enterprise IT organizations and start-ups. Most notably, Ron spent over a decade at FedEx as an IT Executive where he held numerous positions including Technical Advisor, Global Head of testing environments and configuration management, and Global Head of QA. Ron left FedEx to pursue opportunities at a startup where he lead the Professional Services transformation team to drive value-based implementations with documented, repeatable results. After being acquired by CA Technologies in 2011, Ron led the North American Professional Services team for DevOps strategies. He has consulted globally on Enterprise deployment of people, process and technologies in the DevOps space for Fortune 100 companies. He is a published thought leader and trusted advisor for DevOps strategies for large organizations. Ron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems with minors in both Math and Computer Science.
