As part of the Network and Security CTO Office R&D team, Sergio is involved in designing, architecting, and introducing new products to the market. Currently, he is involved in Tanzu Service Mesh, Zero Trust, SASE, SWG, and CASB initiatives, with a high emphasis on everything related to Policy. Prior to VMware, and after receiving his PhD, he founded Intelliment Security, where he built an intent-based vendor-neutral network security policy automation product and helped large enterprises.
