The field of DevOps is now in its 11th year and still relatively new. It was not long ago that the job title “DevOps engineer” did not exist. But like many things in technology, radical change can happen in flash. Within the past few years and 53% of respondents to the Upskilling 2021: Enterprise DevOps Skills Report saying they had recently hired or plan to hire someone for that title. A job title is one thing, but the practice of DevOps Engineering and the journey of DevOps includes many key topics around culture, processes and the technology ecosystem.
