The Time Series Virtual Summit will bring together InfluxData community members for a unique learning experience focused on the impact of time series data. Presented in a virtual reality environment, the event will take place on July 16, at 10 a.m. EDT.



The Time Series Virtual Summit features a stellar lineup of time series experts, including Sameer Farooqui, Russ Savage and keynote speaker James Governor.
James Governor is an analyst and co-founder at RedMonk. James advises developers on technology strategies, open source and how to be more productive. During his keynote presentation, “Reframing and Retooling for Observability,” he will explain how observability is changing the way applications are built and managed. James will also discuss what this means for developers and how observability can be used to derive deep insights into system performance and user experience.
Sameer Farooqui is a strategic cloud engineer at Google. Sameer focuses on Streaming Analytics and helps commercialize new streaming solutions such as time series forecasting and anomaly detection. In his session, “Analytics and ML on Time Series Data in Google Cloud,” Sameer will talk about the benefits of running time series databases in the Google Cloud Platform, and how to take advantage of Google Analytics tools.
Russ Savage is a product manager at InfluxData, where he focuses on enabling DevOps for teams using InfluxDB and the TICK Stack. Russ will give the closing remarks, wrapping up the event with ways to get involved and learn more about the time series community.
