As enterprises in every industrydigitally transform their businesses to meet modern consumers’ demands, AppDynamics is bolstering its role as a digital accelerator in that process with the expanded Azure support. AppDynamics gives enterprises the confidence to deploy digital solutions for business-critical functions knowing that they have uninterrupted, end-to-end visibility across public, private and hybrid cloud environments. With AppDynamicsApplication Performance Managementpowered by theApp iQ Platform, enterprises have flexibility to cost-effectively deploy and manage application workloads and the digital businesses built on them.

This latest milestone builds on AppDynamics’ existing support for .NET, Azure and Azure Marketplace, while providing new capabilities for Azure Web Apps and enhanced integration with Azure Marketplace.

“In the digital economy, cloud technology is powering the applications that have become core to companies’ ability to deliver the experience customers demand,” said Bhaskar Sunkara, cofounder and CTO, AppDynamics. “The best companies run the best technology. And through this new collaboration withMicrosoft, the world’s largest enterprises can use Azure’s platform across hybrid cloud environments with business and application performance assured by AppDynamics.”

Steve Guggenheimer, corporate vice president and chief evangelist, Microsoft Corp. said, “Our enterprise customers’ needs are at the forefront of how we innovate. As companies move more workloads to the cloud, their need for environment-specific performance monitoring increases. AppDynamics offers our customers enterprise scale performance monitoring to provide the insights they need to drive their digital transformation in our public cloud environment or our hybrid environments to enhance their existing investments.”

AppDynamics is working with Microsoft to integrate AppDynamics’ offerings with the newest Azure capabilities announced at Microsoft Ignite in September—Azure MonitoringandAzure Resource Manager—to provide the deepest visibility up and down the application stack, including all Azure resources correlated with the application experience and the business results they support. This integration will be enabled through a simple template that will be available to customers via one-click access in Azure Marketplace.

AppDynamics empowers enterprises, including DIRECTV, eHarmony, Kraft, MTV Networks, NASDAQ, Pearson, Progressive Insurance and Sephora to deliver application performances that exceed the expectations of today’s customers. With a single view of their application portfolios, the ability to drill into any particular line of the potentially billions of lines of code flowing through their environments, enterprises can then deliver peak performance during their digital transformation. AppDynamics’ industry leading unified monitoring suite of applications, includingApplication Performance Management,End-User Monitoring, andInfrastructure Visibility, enables companies to optimize every endpoint, node and microservice on the journey.
