Originally launched in the mid 70's, Matthew has pursued an aggressive growth strategy, while delaying as much as possible any substantive exit events. Having spent most of his career around software development and startup culture, Matthew is an ardent supporter of the devops movement. He is a 16 year technology veteran, focused mainly in building linux based systems.
As Vice President of DevOps at Craftsy, Matthew has spent the past several years deeply focused on cloud infrastructure, and scaling the technology needs of a rapidly growing startup.
Previously, Matthew was a recreational sky diver, roller coaster enthusiast, and racer of automobiles. Finding these pursuits lacking in sufficient excitement, he and his wife Kelly produced a son, Ian, and a daughter, Cora, who together provide ample levels of joy and adventure.
