The DevOps Dozen

By Alan Shimel on October 28, 2015 2 Comments

After over 2500 votes cast in the final round and almost 5000 votes in total we are very proud to present the winners of the inaugural DevOps Dozen awards. These companies were voted by you our readers as the top companies in the DevOps market. They are not companies that are necessarily using Devops internally (though many of them are and have had their own DevOps journeys).  They are the companies/organizations who are producing the tools and services that are helping make DevOps the force for change that it is.

Also a quick word about all of the companies that we nominated for these awards. There were originally something like 100 companies to choose from. We then narrowed it down to the final 32.  Any one of the final 32 were worthy of being in this list. of the DevOps Dozen  At some point yes it is a popularity contest. Some companies are better at turning out their voters then others (just like in real elections).  But on the other hand there were some companies that didn’t campaign at all.  They are here because by consensus they belong here.  With so many votes cast, you have to believe that  the companies that made the final 12 do belong here.

Congrats to the 12 companies/organizations listed below!

In the coming months we will hold additional DevOps Dozen awards for companies that are leveraging DevOps most successfully and for those individuals who are the current leaders of the DevOps movement. Stay tuned for those after the first of the year.
